The owner, Justin Epting, being an artist himself, had an idea in mind for the identity of his restaurant. I received several sketches through text message from his wife, to get me started on a design. I took these sketches and the overall feel and direction I got from Justin to create a vibrant, playful logo that represented the bold flavors of his food and the friendly, culturally rich influence, Justin hoped to convey his customers and community. I chose vibrant colors reminiscent of New Orleans charm, and a playful custom font to express that lively, family vibe.
